Nada Peratovi? is a jurist as well as a feminist and humanist activist and also founder and president of the "Center for Civil Courage". She is the representative of AAI at the United Nations Human Rights Council. Her talk will focus on the significance of secularism in Croatia, especially for the challendes for non-religious people which result from it. Peratovi? points out the biggest problem: politics – even parties and persons which are close to secular thinking undermine secular movements so that non-religious people do not have any strong allies in politics and can rely only on themselves, the civil society, and their own civil courage.
